Rumor stood facing a target in the squad four barracks training ground. A little way away his lieutenant sat underneath a tree watching with fascination. Smiling once to Kairai Rumor turned fully facing the target his eyes narrowing slightly. "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!" he said pushing both hands in front of him firing off a yellow blast. "Hado 63 Thunder Roar Canon" he said watching as the blast hit the target disintegrating it on impact.

Kairai smiled standing up and bowing to the captain. "Captain Rumor did it" he said bowing again before Rumor silently told him to stop with a few hand gestures. "What brings you all the way here Jane?" Rumor asked smiling happily as the target reformed itself in order to be used again. "Bakudo 75 Quintet of Iron Pillars" he said smashing the target down to the ground with five large metal pillars that fell from the sky.

Rumor shrugged watching the spell disappear and the dummy right itself so that it once more ready for a spell. "You really should have learned Kido in the Academy." Rumor said simply raising his hand up pointing at the dummy. "Hado 90 Black Coffin" he cast locking the dummy in a large box that was then pierced repeatedly by spears of energy. When the spell was finished the black box disappeared leaving a destroyed dummy that was slowly trying to re assemble. "Yeah I can't really do any of them myself" Kairai said scratching the back of his head as he let out a small laugh.

Rumor raised an eye brow but turned back to the dummy. "Captains should be so easily offended" he said raising his hand up. "They also shouldn't cry." he continued closing his eyes. "They are here to give leadership to the Soul Reapers and to help bring peace and order to the Soul Society" he finished before casting Blue fire crash down obliterating the target.

Rumor turned to watch her leave before looking over at his lieutenant. "Do you think its something I said?" he asked tilting his head in confusion. Kairai merely smacked his hand against his forehead sighing loudly. His captain could be a bit blunt without really noticing the effect his words had on people. "No captain I don't think it was something you said as much as the way you said it to her sir" the older boy replied going back to his spot beneath the tree. Rumor just shrugged turning back the the dummy. "People are so weird sometimes" he muttered to himself wondering why she reacted in such a way while he moved his arm back before throwing it forward tossing one of his chakram at the dummy cleaving its head off before he pulled his hand back the weapon making an elegant arc through the air to land in his open palm. "Maybe I should send her flowers ... girls like flowers right?" Rumor asked turning to Kairai who merely sighed again his head dropping forward.
